ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hello, my name is Daniel Maxfield. I am a photography student at Carson High School and an active leader of the Photo Club. Through my photography, I strive to capture everyday moments and present them from a new, true and honest perspective.
As the founder of DM Photography, my goal is to create visually engaging images that inspire viewers to appreciate the beauty, emotion and meaning found in ordinary life, while expressing my passion for visual storytelling through the world around us.
I was never always interested in photography until my sophomore year of high school when I took Photo I. My teacher for that class Matt Theilen, who was a professional and internationally recognized wedding photographer, initially taught us how to use the software we were editing on. Once my class picked up the camera and started taking photos, I became extremely invested in photography and decided to take Photo II for my junior year. This experience further developed my skills behind a camera and I wanted to turn my passion into a lifelong career.
Today, I continue to refine my craft by capturing authentic moments and meaningful stories as I pursue a lifelong career through the art of photography.
